MENACING GOOD LOOKS

Never Exhausted

Savor the throaty rasp produced by the dual exhaust tips on the Hornet R/T performance hybrid. Enjoy enhanced horsepower as you blow off steam in style. For a measure of performance and distinction, add the available Track Pack for four-piston Red Brembo brake calipers and 20-inch wheels to complete the look.

Assertive Accents

American grit and fine craftsmanship birthed the 2023 Dodge Hornet. Only top-tier materials were used to accent the sculpted silhouette of our modern take on muscle.

HELL-BENT ON INNOVATION

Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist

Once it identifies a suitably-sized parking space, the available ParkSense® Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist system controls the steering during the parking maneuver. The driver maintains control of the vehicle while the system provides helpful prompts for shifting gears, braking and accelerating as needed.

Front Parking Sensors

Using ultrasonic sensors located on the vehicle's front bumper, our available Front Park Sensors offer distance alerts to help drivers park with confidence.

INSIDE THE HIVE

Power Sunroof

Standard on GT Plus and RT Plus the sunroof brings the outside inside… if you're into that-we just consider it one more window you can open to let in the familiar scent of burning rubber.

Exterior Design of the 2023 Dodge Hornet

Dodge is America's muscle car brand. And while the Hornet is technically a compact utility vehicle, it still embraces the brand's muscle car heritage. Oozing confidence, the Hornet has a high and wide stance with a wide grille flanked by narrow LED headlights forming a fierce stare. The lower portion of the main grille features a mailslot opening, made iconic by the Charger SRT models. Atop the hood are two heat extractors, adding to the muscle car style and increasing engine performance. The side profile features black cladding on the rocker panels and wheel wells, adding a hint of ruggedness. Looking at the Hornet's rear, you'll find a thin LED light bar stretching from side to side, connecting the taillights. At the center of this light bar is an illuminated Dodge Rhombi symbol.

What Are the Powertrain Options for the 2023 Hornet?

On top of the good looks, comfort, and convenience, the 2023 Dodge Hornet also provides drivers with exciting performance. Although it is a CUV, the Hornet still wears the Dodge Rhombi symbol, and with that comes muscle car confidence. Kicking off the powertrain lineup is the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine underneath the hood of the GT and GT Plus trims. This provides the Hornet with 290 lb-ft of torque and 268 horsepower. A nine-speed automatic transmission smoothly delivers the engine's power to all four wheels with an intelligent all-wheel drive system. Using active torque vectoring, the AWD system will slow the inside wheels while sending more torque to the outside wheels while rounding a corner. This provides tight cornering, less oversteer, and overall better handling. The R/T trim comes out of the factory with Dodge's first-ever plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) system. This features a rear axle-mounted electric motor powered by a rechargeable battery pack and a 1.3L turbocharged I-4 engine. While the front wheels are powered by the turbocharged engine, the electric motor provides power to the rear wheels, working together to provide the confidence that all-wheel drive provides. The PHEV setup gives the Hornet R/T and R/T Plus 383 lb-ft of torque and 285-plus horsepower. Over 180 lb-ft of the torque from the PHEV system is available instantly thanks to the electric power. Power is sent to the wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. The R/T comes with the new PowerShot feature, which gives a 15-second burst of 25 extra horsepower to provide exciting performance.

2023 Dodge Hornet Interior Design

When you get behind the wheel of the 2023 Hornet, you'll immediately understand why it is the next generation of the Dodge brand. While the Hornet continues Dodge's emblematic driver-centric layout, with the center stack leaning slightly to face the driver, many upgrades have been added. These include a 10.25-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment touchscreen, a 12.3-inch fully digital customizable gauge cluster, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, six speakers, dual-zone automatic climate control, premium cloth upholstery, a center console push-button start, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and much more. The 2023 Hornet is safe as it is comfortable and convenient. This is thanks to a wide range of standard and available driver assistance technologies. Standard for all Hornet models are driver aids like adaptive cruise control with stop and go, blindspot monitoring, lane keep assist, rear parking sensors, rear cross-path detection, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rain-sensing wipers, automatic high beams, and forward collision warning with full stop. Available safety features include a 360-degree surround-view camera, Active Driving Assist, traffic sign recognition, drowsy driver detection, parallel and perpendicular park assist, front parking sensors, and more!
