So you’ve caught the off-roading bug and are considering joining a Jeep Club? Well, we definitely recommend joining a Jeep Club or 4×4 Club. They both offer a group of people who share the same interest as you do and most likely have some knowledge you’d be interested in learning like where all the best trails are in the area and what parts they recommend putting on their vehicle. We suggest you take a look at these clubs down below if you’re interested in joining a club that consists of people who enjoy off-roading as much as you do.
KC Jeep Club
One of the oldest Jeep clubs in all of Kansas City is KC Jeep Club. The club is located in Kansas City, Missouri, but has members from all over the Midwest. The club hosts monthly club meetings, trail rides, and they also do special community service projects and other activities related to four-wheeling. The club welcomes families and is dedicated to using Jeep’s as they were intended. You can find more about them on their website or their Facebook page, where they also post the event they are attending.
There are three driving principles of the Midwest Krawlers, and those are have fun, help each other, and activity drives membership. The club, which is based out of the Kansas City metro area, hosts events all year long. The group welcomes drivers off all experience levels and all 4×4 vehicle types. Midwest Krawlers is a registered non-profit group and likes to support their local community through outreach programs and by supporting local ORV parks. The group is apart of the Snow Squad, which help provide rides to first responders and emergency medical personnel during the snowy winter weather season. You can learn more about the club here.
Kansas Rocks Recreation Park
Although the Kansas Rocks Recreation Park isn’t a Jeep club, it is a place you can meet people who also love getting their tires dirty. The park was founded in 1997 by David Killion a year after he had formed the Kansas City 4WD Association. The park sits on hundreds of acres of land and features trails for drivers of all experience levels. The park even hosts an Off-Road 101 Course for those looking to get in on the fun! The park hosts a variety of events throughout the year and has spots for camping; you can even bring your RV!
